In a significant stride toward digital transformation, MCC Bank Ltd hosted an impactful AI Empowerment Workshop at its Training Centre, Mangalore in collaboration with Canara Communication Centre, Mangaluru. The event aimed to train and empower MCC Bank staff on AI Integration and Cybersecurity, practical applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in both professional and personal domains.

Training was inaugurated by Sahakara Ratna Shri Anil Lobo by lighting the lamp. Rev. Fr Anil Ivan Fernandes, Director of Canara Communication Centre & Google Certified AI Coach and Mr Leo Victor Zalki, Oracle Certified Generative AI Professional and Google Certified Expert were the resource persons. General Manager Mr Sunil Menezes was present on the dais.

In his keynote address, Chairman Mr Anil Lobo urged the employees to adopt the technology, embrace the change and transform, otherwise we will be nowhere. He emphasized the importance of technological upgradation to accelerate work processes, stay in sync with trends, and remain vigilant against cyber threats.

The workshop also featured a feedback session by Mr Rohan D’Silva, Branch Manager of Bajpe branch, who appreciated the practical relevance of the training. He highlighted how the session opened new perspectives on AI and its application in banking operations, customer service, and cybersecurity. He thanked the management for organizing such a forward-thinking initiative that equips staff to stay ahead in a competitive environment.
Adding a delightful surprise to the session, the resource persons generously offered giveaways to the participants. In a remarkable gesture of encouragement, each of the 7 lucky staff members received a $370 app gift, symbolizing not just appreciation but a motivation to explore and implement AI meaningfully in their professional lives.
